INTERNATIONAL AWARDS CEREMONY 2014– 2015
APPLICATION FORM
The 2014-15International Awards Ceremony will be a celebration of inspirational and sector-leading practice in the implementation of the International Dimension in Education.
Finalists will be invited to the ceremony itself which will run over a day, with cultural and linguistic workshops for teachers and learners in the morning and the award ceremony itself taking place in the afternoon.
All schools/colleges in Wales are eligible to apply for these awards. Application forms must be returned by 5 December 2014to
Please note International School Award accreditation does not guarantee a successful application – while both the ISA and the Award Ceremony recognise complementary work they are separate awards.
The applications will be judged by a panel of representatives from British Council, Dolen Cymru, Colleges Wales and CILT Cymru, based on the criteria outlined in the application form. Winners and runners-up will be invited to bring teachers and pupils/students to the International Awards Ceremony which will take place on week commencing 19 January 2015.
Your application will be judged as follows:Part A is worth20% of your total score.
Part B is worth80% of your total score.

PART A
DOLEN CYMRU ARTS AWARD
This new award celebrates the portrayal of global themes through artistic forms and gives students the opportunity to showcase their talents during the ceremony. We welcome all artistic forms e.g. music, visual art, creative writing and dance. Judges will look for:
- Creativity & originality
- Demonstration of International knowledge or concepts
- Aesthetic value
