Lining: Softwood min density 510kg/m³ 32mm thickness with 12x32mm separate stop. Factory recessed for hinges.
Architrave: Softwood 19x44 once chamfered to both sides of lining.
Finish as delivered: One coat white primer.
Moisture content on delivery: 10 to 12%
Ironmongery: as schedule.
Hinges: 76x100mm stainless steel fixed pin ball bearing butt hinge Grade13 to BS EN 1935 supplied and fixed to door leaf by door manufacturer.
Fire seals: To fire rated doorsets: set into groove in leaf head and edge – colour to contrast paint finish.
Acoustic seals: Where required - to frame head and jambs as manufacturer’s specification to give 33dB acoustic performance. Drop-down seal to foot of door.
Air transfer apertures where required: Position of apertures refer to drawing ------. 300x300mm aperture with steel cover grille to both door faces. Where included in fire rated door-sets include appropriately fire rated intumescent air transfer insert.
All FD30 doors to be fitted with tamper-proof fire rating identification plug in accordance with the BM Trada Q mark Quality Assurance scheme.
