Unit Training Officer

  • Responsible for coordinating and providing assistance to the Chief of Unit Training in the planning and execution of unit Annual Training, CTC, ODT, and JCS missions for over 5,000 soldiers from 57 units and five million dollars in annual training funds.
  • Represented the 70th Regional Readiness Command at USARC and 5th Army training and planning conferences
  • Ensured units meet FORSCOM 350-2, 70th RRS 350-2 and CTG training requirements by coordinating with units and USARC scheduled METL focused training exercises
  • Tracked unit training status to ensure organization was current
  • Planned and conducted staff assistance visits to monitor unit training and provide assistance to units in planning and management of training

U.S. Army, Ft. Lewis, WA 2000 to 2001 Exercise/Plans Officer, G2 Exercise Division

  • Responsible for identifying, defining, and managing information relating to simulation-supported exercises while running parallel tasks.
  • Parallel tasks include devising protocols to maximize intelligence battlefield visualization training, engaging battle commanders and staffs with an intelligence training strategy, and re-engineering exercise support tasks. Coordinate with United States Army Reserve and National Guard units and the I Corps Battle Simulation Center (BSC) to ensure training objectives are met. In pacific Command contingency or crisis response action, serve ad a J2 Operations Officer.
  • Focus/synchronized intelligence systems on the enemy or situation. Additionally, responsible for obtaining information, coordinating exercise support requirements, and briefing the G2 and staff on exercise development.

Battalion Plans and Operations Officer

V (US) Corps Long Range Surveillance Intelligence Officer

  • Responsible for the intelligence collection and training of 13 Long Range Surveillance Teams. Conduct team debriefs.

  • Modified company standing operating procedures (SOP) for conducting a team debrief, making it fit peace-keeping operations.

  • Responsible for the health, welfare, and training of 29 soldiers to include providing counterintelligence support to communities in Germany.
  • Platoon’s average time for personnel security investigations was 8 days below the USAREUR standard.
  • Successfully executed weapons training which resulted in every platoon member-qualifying expert on his/her assigned weapon.
  • As Officer in Charge for Battalion Nijmegan team, successfully implemented training program and deployment to Nigmegan, Holland that resulted in all team members finishing the 100-mile ruck march.
  • Implemented training program, which increased the platoon Army Physical Fitness Test average to 270 out of a possible 300 points.

Squadron Intelligence Officer (S2)
