Video Conferences — Checking In on the Title I, Part A Components
We’ll schedule four video conferences over the 2015-16 school year with pilot districts and schools. Your federal programs director, business manager, principal and two teachers should be present at each video conference. We’ll slate these meetings in October (2015), and in January, April, June (2016). Once we set specific dates, we’ll let you know.
These are two-way opportunities for conversation about the pilot, and a check-in that will cover the programmatic components and fiscal responsibilities that accompany the use of these federal funds. As you know, districts use their Title I, Part A allocations to supplement instruction, curricula and services in the core subjects of ELA, math and science for students who need extra academic support.
