Chapter 11-Green's Functions for Time-dependent Problems: 11.1-11.3

Grading:

1.Your test average with the first exam weighted 25%, the second exam weighted 25%, the third exam weighted 25%, and the final exam weighted 25% will be computed.

2.The lowest of the three semester exam grades will be dropped and your test average will be computed with your two highest test scores weighted as 30% each, and your final exam score weighted as 40%. Your letter grade will be assigned based on the higher of 1. & 2. +/- Grades will be assigned.

3. If your average on the first three tests is at least 80% you may elect not to take the final exam. Your grade will be computed entirely on the basis your test average. ______

Repeating Course: If this course is being taken to repeat a course previously taken at UB, it is important , for financial aid purposes, to be registered for 12 credit hours in addition to the course which isbeing repeated to be considered full time.

Friday, January 26: Last day to drop course –no record appears on transcript. Friday, January 26: Last day to file "Petition to make up an incomplete" with the Department of Mathematics for SP 2007 class attendance. Friday, March 20: Last day to "resign" Spring 2007 courses. A grade of "R" appears on transcript. (One semester UB students have until March 31 (3 WEEKS LATER) to resign with an "R" provided they have contacted their advisor about this option prior to March 31 to discuss this option.)
