INSTRUCTIONS for PREPARING EMCEE CARDS

You will need to prepare 3 emcee sheets ~~ one for talent, evening gown, and swimsuit. These cards will be read by the emcee exactly as you write them so please check for complete sentences, good grammar and interesting comments. Try to make them as interesting as possible. Write in the 3rd person ~~~ “Jane is a senior at the University of Georgia…..she enjoys scuba diving…..etc.” Please do not add any lines or write on the back of this sheet.

Type cards in at least 14 point font. Double space your lines. If you are unable to type them, please print with black ink.

Do not worry about the contestant number. Numbers will be added later, but your name should be consistent with how you are listed in other pageant paperwork.

If you prefer, you can type them, print them out, and bring them with you. Or, you can open this document, type into it, save it under another name like Jane’s MC cards, then return it to Donna at as an attachment. This is a WORD document. Sheets can then be printed out.

The talent info speaks for itself. On the swimsuit card, please list hobbies, interests, unusual facts, etc. This is a lighter, more fun side of your personalitybut remember this competition goes fast & there’s no time for wordy intros. On the evening gown card, please list your parent/guardian(s) name(s) only.

The Grammy winning song, “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon & Garfunkel has been named one of the greatest songs of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine. Performing her own contemporary version of this 1960’s classic is Leah Massee.

(Evening Wear)

Leah is the daughter of Lee and Connie Massee.

(Fitness)

Leah enjoys surfing on the beach and hitting the slopes.
