After the 13th International Conference ModTech 2009-New face of TMCR (www.modtech.ro) organized by the Department of Machine Manufacturing Technology, Faculty of Machine Manufacturing and Industrial Management, Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi-Romania and by the Department of Machine Manufacturing Technology, Technical University of Moldova, the Organizing Committee from Department of Machine Manufacturing Technology, Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi-Romania, agreed to launch the International Journal of Modern Manufacturing Technologies.
During the three years, this journal will pass the CNCSIS (The National University Research Council) indexing process (B, B+, A) and international indexing in at least one international data base and finally will be proposed for ISI Thomson Reuters Master Journal indexing. The Organizing Committee decided to start with two issues per year with 12-18 papers per issue. In time, the Journal will be by four issues per year.
The International Journal of Modern Manufacturing Technologies has been accepted for coverage within the Engineering Village –Inspec Database.
