1. BODY OF THE PAPER.USE TIMES NEW ROMAN 14 FOR SECTIONS’ TITLES.
The title is a first order heading and it should be numbered in Arabic, aligned on the left side, with capital letters and bold. It should be separated by a double space before and after the text. The work should include, when appropriate, sections of INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (if necessary) and REFERENCES. The discussion of the results can be presented in a separate item to the results, at the discretion of the authors.
All text should be single-spaced. The page must be configured in A4 format (21,0cm x 29.7 cm), with "portrait" orientation, with bottom, right and left margins of 2.5 cm and top of 5 cm. Font should be Times New Roman, size 16 in the title, 14 in the first and second order headers, text and 3rd order headings in 11, and 10 in the authors’ affiliation under the title. The first line of each paragraph should start with a tab of 1.5 cm from the left margin, with justified alignment.
1.1 Second Heading(font 14)
The second order headings should be aligned at the left margin, typed in bold, and only the first letter of each word has to be in capital with one space separating the previous text.
Thirdheading (font11): The third order heading starts after the tab, with no number, underlined, and only capitalize the first letter of the first word. The text should start on the same line of the heading.
2. FIGURES
Figures can be colored and should be placed in the body of the text with frame, as close as possible to the references about them. The dimensions (length) and arrangement of the figures should respect the spaces defined by the lateral margins, preserving the formatting of the text.
Each figure should have a caption and should be numbered in Arabic numbers. The caption must be at the left of the top of the figure and typed according tothe format: Figure 1 - Title of the figure. The Figure should be named in the text according to the following example: "as shown in Figure 1 ...".
3. TABLES
Tables should be typed compactly and presented as they are cited in the text. They should follow the same instructions of the Figures;at the left of the top of the table.
4. EQUATIONS
The equations should be written after a tab (15 mm) and separated from the text by double-space. They will have consecutive numbering in brackets along the right margin. They should be named in the text as the example: "... the substitution of Equation 1 in Equation 3 provides ...".
5. LITERATURE QUOTES
References should be cited in the text by the first author’slast name and the year of publication, which should be in brackets, as the following examples: "The work of Souza (2000) has shown ..." or " ... it has been shown (Souza, 2000). " In the case of two authors, both are mentioned, for example: "... according to Rhodes and Geldart (1995) ..." When there are three or more authors, only first author’s nameshould be mentioned, followed by "et al . ".
The articles published in the same year and by the same authors should use letters a, b, c, after the year, such as: The studies developed by Campos et al. (1996a, b) reported...”.
6. REFERENCES
The list of references should include only the references cited in the text, and be presented in alphabetical order, according to the surname of the first author. The names of all authors must be listed in the references, and it is not allowed to use the expression "et al.".

7. GENERAL DISPOSITIONS
a) The work should contain a minimum of 04 (four)and a maximum of 06 (six) pages, complying to theserules (papers not accordingly to the rules will not be accepted).
b) Papersworks will be evaluated by a Scientific Committee designated for this purpose, with the collaboration of ad hoc consultants, according to their own and unquestionedcriteria.
c) It will be accepted articles written in Portuguese or English, which will be published in the Conference Proceedings. For those who wish to apply for an oral presentation and submission to the Food Science and Technology Journal (SBCTA), the articles may be written in English or Portuguese, with oral presentation in Portuguese. For those who will apply for the oral presentation and submission toFood and Bioprocess Technology (CIGR), both, the article and oral presentation should be in English.
d) The works selected for oral presentation will be evaluated by a jury that will choose the best works for awards nomination and/or also for submission to the journals (the selected works should follow the Journals’ guidelines before submission).
e) Full papers must be submitted by May 24, 2016.
f) Papersshould be submitted in PDF format.
g) When submitting the paper, two versions should be sent: one containing the authors and affiliations, and another without them, which will be sent to reviewers.
h) The names of the authors on the Certificate will be written as they wereregisteredin the web system and not as they appear in the pdf file. Please carefully check the names before submitting the paper.
