Institute for Management & Innovation Awards
The Institute for Management and Innovation will be presenting several awards to Undergraduate students to recognize academic, campus and community involvement. Details about each award are available at:
Awards will be granted to full time students in the Commerce or Management programs who are in good academic standing (Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 1.50)and are not on academic probation or suspension.
All award recipients will be recognized at the Institute for Management & Innovation’s Annual Awards Ceremony which will be held on Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Kaneff Rotunda. Attendance at the ceremony will include our esteemed student achievers, faculty, staff, and various industry professionals in addition to the MGT480 internship course poster presentations.
Application Package for Academic Excellence
All nominations should include the following:
1)Application form
2)Copy of the nominee’s unofficial academic transcript
3)Copy of the nominee’s updated resume (The Department of Management would strongly recommend signing up for a résumé critique from the Career Centre)
Incomplete applications will NOT be considered. Please note that students cannot apply for multiple awards. Completed applications should be submittedto drop box number 7beside KN 206 before 4:00 p.m. on March 2nd, 2018.
Please note the following:
1) Students cannot apply for multiple award categories
2) Previous award recipients are not eligible to apply for the same award category but are
welcome to apply for other applicable awards
3) Students that opted to use the Credit/No Credit option in the Winter 2015 term for any MGT
or MGM course(s) are ineligible for all award categories

Award Description:
Academic Excellence – 1 for each program
This award is given to a full-time graduating student within a specialization, with the highest CGPA (min. 3.5) in an academic year. Applicant must qualify for and/or have completed the requirements for the Transcript Notation with the Department of Management by March 2nd, 2018.
