SCOPE OF WORK: To assist in the development, delivery and management of training programs and services to business and industry clients and the general public at the Business Training Center (BTC). This position reports to the Director of the Business Training Center (BTC) at NHTI, Concord’s Community College.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordinates the planning and delivery of training programs and related services through the BTC;
  • Serves as a liaison to client companies/organizations in the development and implementation of training programs;
  • Assists in recruiting instructors and trainers, the development of contracts, In-House Requisitions, and other key documents, oversees development and distribution of course materials;
  • Creates training schedules, assists in the production of marketing materials and website design;
  • Oversees the on-line component of training programs;
  • Develops and manages program budgets and provides reporting as necessary;
  • Complies with all college, system, state and federal rules and regulations;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in business administration, management,computer technology orother technology-related field, education, human resources,or marketing. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Two years of experience in business administration, management, computer technologyorother technology-related field,human resources, marketing/sales or corporate training with responsibility for program planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substitute for one year of required formal education.

License/Certification: Valid New Hampshire driver's license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Solid computer and desktop publishing skills, including, but not limited to:the Microsoft Office Suite,Blackboard,and Banner, as well as strong project management skills.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: For appointment consideration, applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge, skills and abilities identified as necessary for satisfactory job performance by this class specification. The structured interview is developed and administered, according to CCSNH guidelines.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of government and the general public. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the college appointing authority.
