  4. embankment repair by willow spiling at Hetton Bogs and Brookside East Rainton
  5. river bank revetment repairs multiple locations on R. Wear

  7. access control barrier repairs various.

6. network development - ROWIP F
  1. design/cost steps replacement NR1 to Wilson Terrace Silksworth; implement aim 2013
  2. Washington Cycle Network – draft network prepared for phase 1/2/3 delivery; Local Transport Plan and Washington Area Committee funding aligned to deliver ph.1
  3. Trans Sunderland Cycle Route (A1 to Roker) DfT funding bid with S Tyneside hopefully close to secure; if successful will enable £560k DfT 50% matched work, and tandem additional £225k LTP works
  4. C2C £500k upgrade Grange Rd east to QA Gyratory and at St Peters near complete.
  5. Coalfield Cycle Route development – working to combine £60k s.106 funds with LSTF funds to better mutual results.
  6. diversion at Low Lambton Farm completed though path beyond still closed for safety
  7. provisional riverside path realignment plans being drafted for 250m irreparable bank failure, anticipated to threaten footpath in 1-3 years, north bank near Cox Green.

7. enforcement - ROWIP H
  1. cross field reinstatements – various contacts with land managers
  2. land slip clearance and make safe Ryhope
  3. utility reinstatements requirements – various, one contested now resolved.
