MOVE-OUT INSTRUCTIONS

The following requirements must be fulfilled at time of move out:

  1. Complete the full term of the lease.
  2. Submit «Insert 30 or 60» day written notice on owner’s form to the resident manager.
  3. Return all keys to the office. Rent will continue to be charged until all keys are returned, per lease agreement.
  4. Pay any outstanding rent and/or other charges.
  5. Provide management with a written forwarding address.
  6. Leave no damage of any kind in the apartment. (Furniture, walls, carpet, formica, appliances, etc.)

If you have an authorized pet, the non-refundable portion of your pet deposit is required for the privilege of having your pet only. All apartments showing evidence of having had a pet, authorized or unauthorized will be shampooed and treated for fleas. Such charges will be based on the schedule below and deducted from the refundable portion of your pet deposit. If the pet is not authorized and no pet deposit is in place, these charges will be deducted from your apartment security deposit.

An inspection of the apartment will be made only after you have moved out completely and returned all keys. The apartment, including all rooms, (i.e., kitchen, bathrooms, patio, etc.), must be fully cleaned, dusted, mopped and vacuumed prior to inspection. Charges will be based on damages that are beyond normal wear and tear. If the apartment does not meet these requirements, charges will be assessed as follows:

The security deposit or disposition will be returned by mail to the forwarding address left by you, subject to any deductions.
