INFO: Saturday, May 5, 2018, 10 a.m., Inlet View School located at: 1219 N Street.
RACE: 2K, 5K , 10K. FUN WALK/RUN.
ROUTE: Race through downtown city streets and on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. Start and finish at Inlet View School.
This community-wide event emphasizes family and individual participation and active family lifestyles for all ages and abilities. This race offers a discounted entry fee for school teams in an effort to include everyone in making healthy choices for themselves and families.
- Groups of ten students or more and one group leader/coach can register as a team and receive a low registration fee of $10each.T-shirts are available for an additional $20.00.
- All team adults entering the 2k can register for $10. Registration fees, which include a t-shirt, for team adults entering the 5k and 10k are $35.
- The GROUP REGISTRATION FORM must be e-mailed to: no later than Friday, April 20, 2018 or faxed to Inlet View School at 742-7650 no later than Thursday, April 19, 2018in order to be processed as a group and receive the lower group rates.
- The team Coach/Leader must pay for and pick up the entire team’s number bibs on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, between 4:30-6:30 PM at Inlet View Elementary and bring with them the completed and signed WAIVER for each team member. (If this date and time is impossible for you, please contact Kelly Smith to make other arrangements.)
- The Coach/Leader is responsible for distribution of the number bibs to their team prior to the race.
- If you intend to transport your team in a bus please notify us so we can have parking readily available for you.
Please consider participating this year. This 2K, 5K or 10K family race provides youth with:
- A supportive and healthy way to exercise with incentives to be active, including active role models
- Experience running a timed event with friends and family without pressure
- A team building/school spirit opportunity
