Information and Trading Products Director 2013 - 2015

With a team of 7 professionals in charge, is responsible of trading and information products of the Santiago Stock Exchange, and its design and functional definitions, combining quality assurance and form of marketing. Responsible for the design and functional definitions of the products in charge, in addition to quality assurance and commerialization definitions.

  • Setting up a new area, responsible for the definition and design of trading and information products, their marketing processes, setting objectives and responsibilities and composition of the team work, allowing to focus on expanding the capital market, and increase the number of trades donde in the exchange.
  • Introduction of a new methodology (using tools such as Design Thinking and Canvas) for market research and monitor customer needs to create new or modify existing products, ensuring customer loyalty.
  • Implementation of a project area for support of the sales area, introducing a CRM system that allowed access to customer information, business intelligence, review prices, and update contracts of differet products provided by the exchange.
  • Incorporation of IPSA ETF project successfully implemented, according to deadlines, scope and quality defined, with a minimum annual income 3,200 UF.
  • Address the feasibility process, bidding, awarding and supervising the construction of the first Chilean stock market sustainability index (DJSI CHILE) with S&P Dow Jones Indices. Launched in October 2015.
  • Participation in redefining governance structure of the Latin American Integrated Market, MILA, initiative that gathers stock exchanges and securities depositories of Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico, assuming the MILA Secretariat area.

Project Manager 2008 al 2012

In charge of a team of 3 professionals, is responsible for leading projects relaed to trading and information products of the Santiago Stock Exchange.

  • Introduction of functional concepts for the implementation of new trading and market information systems for the equity market, incorporating new technologies for direct market access (DMA) and dissemination of information in real time using global industry standards (FIX protocol), which after 5 years represent 35% of all trades in the exchange.
  • Leadership in the project of interconnection of the exchanges and securities depositories of Chile, Colombia and Peru (Integrated Latin American Market, MILA). increasing internationalization of the company. Management was awarded the 2011 Santiago Stock Exchange Innovation Award.
  • Definition of market information to display in the Web site change the Santiago Stock Exchange (2009), increasing the information available.
  • Definition of concepts for the systematization of information for the debt market available in the exchange terminal, incorporating features, better availability of information and applications, improving service to users of the fixed income and money market.

Project Engineer 2005 al 2007

  • Participation in the implementation of new OTC system, which captured transactions made by phone or other means, and would represent, to current date 2016, an income of UF 10,000 annually.
  • Participation in the implementation of a new clearing and settlement system, SCL., which allowed to settle most of the trades made on the stock exchange reducing counterparty risk.
  • Participation in program "Knowing the Exchange" and speaker in presentations on the stock market and the stock market to both domestic and foreign university students.
