Placement / Track 26 FY1 - Medicine Endocrinology
The department
The type of work to expect and learning opportunities / Admission, treatment and initial care of all patients admitted. The firm regards education as an important aspect of your work and you will be expected to ask questions and make suggestions on the ward round. You will not be expected to attend clinics except under very exceptional circumstances, although you may wish to do so as part of your training. In addition to the scheduled ward round, there will be, after every medical take, a consultant post take round. In exceptional circumstances this round may be undertaken by the Registrar. You will hopefully have experience of all medical interventions by the end of the post
