Goals / To plant God’s truth in our children’s hearts through classroom discussion, worksheets and activities (e.g. art, games, etc.). / To plant God’s truth in our children’s hearts and to shape their character through rigorous memorization training while still having fun. / To allow children to serve the Lord through their musical talents in singing and playing gospel music.
God’s Truth (Classroom Material) / Gospel Light curriculum, based on books of the Bible, covering selected books of both New and Old Testaments in a four-year rotation. / 576 Bible-based questions and answers in three levels of difficulties, covering the entire Bible and basic Christian doctrine in oneyear. The same curriculum is repeated each year to ensure planting of the material in long-term memory. / Traditional hymns and other gospel songs as well as teachings about the related Bible verses
Classroom / Use an expository method to emphasize understanding and application through teacher-led discussions. (An Expository Bible Study is a study that begins with the text of Scripture and seeks to explain its meaning, as opposed to beginning with a specific topic and looking for Scriptures that relate to that topic.)Each lesson can be taught independently each week.Memorize at least one verse per week. / Emphasizeperseverance through daily study, learn teamwork and discipline through completion of the material,and allow parent-child bonding.
  • 7 months (Quiz season: September to March)
  • Individual: Achieve Discovery Seal, Master Seal, Master Quoter Seal,and more
  • Team: Use a fast-paced buzzer game to reinforce the memorization at home
  • 5 months (Off season: April to August)
  • Train children to use homiletics, a methodical note-taking way to analyze and apply Scripture
/ Regular and punctual attendance for Sunday morning practices is essential to developing discipline and a rapport with other choir members and the teacher(s). Absence can be very disruptive since we periodically have new hymns for kids to learn and special programsto prepare for Easter and Christmas. Anticipated absences should be reported to the teacherbeforehand.

Goals / To plan God’s truth in our children’s hearts through classroom teaching and activities (e.g. art, games etc.). / Little by little and step by step, we build a foundation of understanding for young children, helping them to catch a glimpse of the greatness of God.

(Classroom Material) / Gospel Light curriculum, based on books of the Bible, covering selected bible stories in a two-year rotation. / Present truths about God in very simple words through Bible stories.
Classroom / Children learn to recognize that the Bible is God’s Word and that God loves and cares for us. Each lesson will actively engage every child in the Bible story, and lead them to experience God’s love and know Jesus. / Children have an opportunity to participate in singing songs of praise to God as well as learning truths about God through Bible stories and prayer.

Goals / The Goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The purpose of AWANA is two-fold: Evangelism and Training.
  • EVANGELISM: To draw boys and girls from the surrounding community into the club ministry where they may hear the gospel and accept Christ as Savior.
  • TRAINING: To prepare clubbers to help fulfill the Great Commission through the outreach to the lost, service to the local church, development of leadership qualities, personal spiritual growth, and knowledge about God and Bible.

Classroom / Kids will be divided in two large groups: Sparks for K to G2 and Truth & Training (T&T) for G3 to G6. Each session has threesegments – Handbook, Gameand Council Time.
  • Handbook Time--Clubbers recite Bible memory verses to leaders and leaders sign off sections.
  • Game Time--Clubbers develop team spirit, good sportsmanship, and self confidence.
  • Council Time--Clubbers learn important Biblical principles during story time/sword drills and special activities
