ORAL CONTRAST: None

POSITIONING: Feet first supine, Feet internally rotated

TOPOGRAMS: AP. Range: 2” above acetabulum through lesser trochanter. 35 mA, 120 kV

SCAN TYPE: Spiral/Helical

SCAN RANGE: 2” above acetabulum through lesser trochanter.

NOTES: Scan completely through prosthesis.

Send Thin Slice Volume Source Images: Recon 0.6 x 0.6mm to PACS.

ALARA – Keep radiation dose As Low As Reasonably Achievable.
