Information for Exhibitors and Rules and Regulations Governing the Exhibit

APPLICATION FOR SPACE: Payment in full should accompany this application for exhibit table space. After space is assigned, a confirmation will be mailed along with hours of set up. Applications are due no later than September 1, 2015.

USE OF SPACE: The Director of Exhibits reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit or part of an exhibit that is not in keeping with the character of the conference. All aisle space is under the control of the Director of Exhibits and shall not be used for exhibit or demonstration purposes. Displays cannot be attached to walls. Outlets are very limited.

TABLE FEES:$175 for commercial publishers (includes one conference registration); $100 for not-for-profit groups (includes one conference registration).

We have limited spaces for tables. Registrations are first come, first served.

PROGRAM FEATURES: Each commercial publisher may submit a proposal application for the conference program, but please be aware that presentation space is very limited and not all proposals can be accepted for presentation. The proposal form deadline is July 15th (an earlier deadline from the Exhibitor Application). Each exhibitor will be provided with a listing in the printed conference program.

INSTALLATION AND DISMANTLING TIMES:Set up may begin as early as 7:00 on Friday, November 20, 2015. Dismantle after the close of the conference.

HOURS OF EXHIBIT: All exhibits are to be open for display according to the following schedule.

  • Exhibits open at 8:00AM
  • Registration at 8:00AM
  • Raffle: at close of conference following Membership Meeting

CANCELLATION: Exhibit space that has been assigned and confirmed may be canceled without penalty prior to October 1, 2015.

SECURITY AND LIABILITY: ICSS shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or theft that may occur to the exhibitor or the exhibitor's employees or property from any cause whatsoever, prior to, during, or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibit contract.

RAFFLE: A raffle will be held in the exhibit area following the General Membership meeting. Each exhibitor is invited to donate an item or service for the raffle.This is not a requirement, however.

You are hereby authorized to reserve space for our exhibit at the 2015 NCSS Great Lakes Regional Conference sponsored by the Indiana Council for the Social Studies (ICSS) to be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church at 100 W. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46260November 20, 2015. In making this application, we agree to conform to the exhibit rules and regulations as stated on the Exhibit Contract Information form. It is mutually agreed that all said rules and regulations shall be interpreted by the ICSS and the parties hereto shall be bound by such interpretation.
