INDIAN LAKEBOROUGHCOUNCIL MEETING

DECEMBER 26, 2007

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Indian Lake Borough Council was held on December26, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the IndianLakeBoroughBuilding.

Visitors – Tiffany Wright, Ken Helsel, Richard Stern, James Lyons, Robert Vogel, Alane Couch, and Robert Hanson.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Terry L. St. Clair, Council President.

ORDER OF BUSINESS

1.Welcome Visitors - Tiffany Wright, Ken Helsel, Richard Stern, James Lyons, Robert Vogel, Alane Couch, and Robert Hanson.

2.Public Comment:

A.Ronald Sieling – Mr. Sieling addressed the issue of the sediment which was running into Clear Run this past weekend and he also provided pictures. Council requested that the Borough Manager contact Keith Largent from the Soil Conservation District and to forward the pictures to him.

3.Legal Report:

A.Pursuit of Sanctions – Takacs Suit – Attorney Rullo reported that the motion has been filed for sanctions but he has not scheduled that for argument.

4.Old Business:

A.Appointment of Member to the Zoning Hearing Board - Walters made a motion to re-appoint Forrest Schucker to the Indian Lake Zoning Hearing Board for a three (3) year term, term expiring December 31, 2010. Miscoe seconded the motion. All ayes, motion carried.

B.Appointment of Member to the Planning Commission – Miscoe made a motion to appoint Robert Hanson to the Planning Commission for a four (4) year term, term expiring December 31, 2011. Walters seconded the motion. All ayes, motion carried.

5.New Business:

A.Employee Bonuses – This issue was evaluated and there is no money available for bonuses this year. The employees are aware of the Borough’s financial limitations and they understand the situation

On behalf of the Borough Council, Terry St. Clair thanked Bryan Bozovich and John Walters for all the time and dedication they have provided to the Borough and for serving on Borough Council. Mayor Lichty stated that Patty Dewar asked him to express her appreciation to Bryan and John as well for all their time and service that they have given.

B.Resignation of Terry St. Clair from Borough Council – The Mayor read the letter of resignation from Terry St. Clair from the Borough Council effective January 6, 2008 at 11:59 P.M. Miscoe made a motion to regretfully accept the resignation of Terry St. Clair from the Indian Lake Borough Council effective at 11:59 P.M. on January 6, 2008. McCauley seconded the motion. All ayes, motion carried.

With no further business to discuss, Miscoemoved and McCauley seconded to adjourn the meeting at7:43 P.M. All ayes, motion carried.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Indian Lake Borough Council will be held on January 7, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the IndianLakeBoroughBuilding.
