Historical Information / This boat shed appears to have been erected for Albert Rushbrook in 1942. The Rushbrook family continued occupation of the shed for the next 23 years. In 1965, the Foreshore Committee requested that Mrs Rushbrook “remove stakes in sand adjacent to her boat shed” as they were a “danger to the public.” A few months later, Mrs Rushbrook transferred the lease of the shed to R. Lillie of Camperdown. Two years later in 1967, the lease was transferred to W. Chirgwin. In 1971, M. Chirgwin was leasing the shed.
