Increase the Number of Services That Are Being Requested and Filled

Mission:Love INC needs an individual that has a heart for serving those in need, the vision to develop programs that fulfill needs that are not being met by other organizations, the ability to raise funds for these programs, collaborate with other organizations, manage the staff and maintain the fiscal strength of the organization.

Outcomes:

Increase the number of services that are being requested and filled.

Engage churches and build on the solid base of current churches serving our clients both as volunteers and contributors.

Develop new programs that serve the elderly and economically disadvantaged in areas where there needs are not being met. Identify organizations or individuals that can fund these programs.

Maintain close relationship with United Way to ensure continued funding.

Create an atmosphere where the staff, volunteers and clients are spiritually enriched.

Establish controls and discipline necessary to ensure the fiscal viability of the organization.

Critical Competencies:

Deal with people: staff, board, agencies, churches, charitable foundations and volunteers / Work collaboratively with our member churches, staff agencies and others in a way that exemplifies our Christian Mission.
Fund raising: grant writing, asking for contributions / Expand and nurture the ability of agencies, churches, foundations and individuals to fund our programs.
Refine the vision and focus of Love INC / Identify the organizations strengths and orient the organization to use our resources in a manner that will maximize the benefit to those we serve.
Creativity in developing programs and ways to fund them / Identify unmet needs of our clients and find the resources needed to meet those needs.
Sound fiscal judgment and knowledge / Balance the use of general funds with contributions to fund specific projects in a way that leverages our limited resources to help our clients and ensure the fiscal viability of the organization.
Provide leadership to the organization / Engages everyone associated with Love INC, guiding them to achieve their fullest potential in advancing their goals and the goals of the organization.
Promote the organization / Ensure that the proper people and organizations are aware of our mission to ensure a continued source of clients, volunteers and contributors.
