FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PROGRAMME: enrolment forms are available for collection from the sacristy after weekend Masses. Please sign the sheet to note you have collected a set. The Sacred Heart School will prepare the children in school. Non-Catholic school children will need to come to Saturday classes (during term-time). Enrolment forms with the child’s baptism certificate must be received by 2nd October. Please note, no enrolments will be accepted after this date.
CONFIRMATION 2017 PROGRAMME: enrolment forms are available from the sacristy after weekend masses. please sign the sheet to note you have collected a set. classes will be on occasional Saturdays. All enrolment forms (with candidates baptism certificate) must be returned by 24th October 2016.
MASS INTENTIONS: please note, Eucharistic services will be offered on 26th,29th August -2nd September. Mass intentions booked for those days will be offered on another day.

ACT OF WITNESS: in support of life and against abortion outside the Luton & Dunstable hospital Saturday September 3rd 1.00 - 2.00pm. There continues to be hundreds of unborn children from this area and thousands nationwide who do not come to birth. Please come and give a voice and to pray for all those involved.

YEAR OF MERCY PILGRIMAGE: Pope Francis encourages us to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Door during this Year of Mercy. Our town are making the Pilgrimage to Northampton Cathedral on Saturday 24th September where Bishop Peter will lead us in mass at 12 noon. please take this opportunity to mark the Year of Mercy in a special way. To book a seat on the coach please use the envelopes in the church porch and payment of £10 (adult) or £5 (children).
LUTON TOWN CENTRE CHAPLAINCY: HEALING ON THE STREETS.Every Saturday on Market Hill (outside Debenhams) a small team of people from different churches engage with members of the public & offer to pray for their needs. Many have found comfort & healing. If you would like to hear more about this you are invited to an open morning on Saturday September 10th at Luton Christian Fellowship church(at the traffic lights beyond Our Lady’s on London Rd) from 10-1pm. LUTON IRISH PERSON OF THE YEAR: Saturday 1st October at St Joseph’s Parish Centre sponsored by Gerry Taylor. Tickets only £5 includes buffet and entertainment and the Irish Ambassador of London will be presenting the award.
