As the Second District Court has been bringing additional jurisdictions into the File and Serve efiling system the court has had a voluntary period of efiling since November 1, 2014. Commencing January 1, 2015 NMRA 1-005.2 is amended to require that efiling will be mandatory for all final documents filed by counsel in Domestic Relations cases (except Domestic Violence). Additionally, also effective January 1, 2015 the Second District Court is mandating electronic submission of issuance documents to the clerk’s office for further issuance by the clerk’s office. Examples include Certificates as to the State of the Record, writs of execution, or summons.
