Volunteer Opportunity for Dancers

2-3 students are needed to help with choreography and dance instruction for the Owen Public School Musical this spring.

Rehearsals would be from 4 - 5 p.m. on Wednesdays with students from grades 3-6.

Homework Clubs

  • The Cantonese and Mandarin Home Work Club-Tuesdays from 3:40 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room 128.
  • The Farsi Home Work Club - Wednesdays from 3:40 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room 128.
  • The Korean Home Work Club -Thursdays from 3:40 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room 128.

All students are invited to join the club to help others or to be helped by others with their homework assignments.

This club is NOT just for ESL students.

Criteria: for lesbian,gay.bi-sexual and transgendered students majoring in film after high school

Scholarship: $5000

Those considering Huron University should consider applying for the Huron National Scholarships which are separate from entrance scholarships awarded by the University of Western. Refer to Huron’s website at for more information and application process.
