In Monday’s first day play of the 3A State Golf Championship held at Fox Fire Resort in Pine Hurst the Lady Cougars finished 22 strokes ahead of their nearest competitor. Hailey Joy was the low scorer for the team with a 69. Olivia John shot 78 and Victoria Cook had an 80. The ladies continue play today.
Huge congratulations to the Varsity Football Team for their win over Northern Guilford Friday night.
The Swim Team will have a brief meeting right after schoolon Tuesdayin Mrs. Troxlers room. Anyone interested in being on the swim team or current members should plan to attend.
The Men’s Soccer Team plays Person County tonight at 5:30. Heath Carter will play the National Anthem on his electric guitar. Wednesday night is Senior Night for soccer team as they take on Morehead High School. It will be a buy one ticket get another student ticket for free. Students must accompany each other to get the ticket free offer.
HOSA District 5 Competition isSaturday November 18th. If you plan to attend, the $5 Registration fee and $5 for Chick-fil-a meal is due byWednesday October 26th.
Student Council is sponsoring a Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday October 28th from 4:00 until 6:00pm in the senior parking lot. Bring your cars and candy to give out. There will be games, face painting, and prizes for the top three best decorated cars. Sign up in the office.
The Underclass Picture Date has been changed. Underclass pictures will be taken on Thursday, November 2nd.

Seniors: Admissions counselors from UNC-G and Appalachian State University are coming to RCHS thisWednesday, October 25th. If you are interested in applying to or learning more about either school, see Ms. Bulls in guidance to sign up or get more info.
Seniors: You can win a chick fil a breakfast meal by bringing Ms. Bulls your college application confirmation letters. Once you bring the letter, stop by guidance to take an "IApplied" picture and get on the Cougars At College bulletin board.
