Paul left Freemax to spread his design love. He felt it was time he got back to basics. He started contracting with DNX Marketing in Shere, for what was meant to be a 2 weeks, but they kept him there for a year, working on re-branding projects for multi national companies, designing mobile applications for technology companies and working with their clients to help deliver the high quality and award winning design. He’s also been working for MerchantCantos, concentrating on their digital pitch work for the financial, pharmaceutical property and oil industry, Media Station working on touchscreen 3D walk throughs,Ogilvy designing microsites, Money Advice Service creating online budgeting tools and Avis BudgetGroup working on their car rental mobile app.We can see my latest work at
Freemax Media– Creative Director (‘08- ‘11)Permanent
Paul joined Freemax Media during its start-up phase. The company operates at the leading edge of online marketing, both in terms of audience engagement channels and approaches, and commercial propositions. On joining the start-up, Paul was charged with building a production team to handle the rapidly changing, and ever increasing design and technical demands.The company expanded from 3 to 30 and the production team was built from 1 to 10 within 18 months. Paul is responsible for managing design, copy, SEO and development. He liaises with clients to build strong lasting partnerships, working with them on their brands and customer engagement. He is responsible for increasing conversions. He also manages all aspects of social engagement and builds communities around a range of Freemax Media and client sites.

After joining IPT in 2005, Paul was quickly promoted to Design Director to lead a team of 10 designers and work closely with a development team of 25. Paul managed an international design team with designers in the UK, Manila and France and was involved in new business development, budgeting and marketing strategy reporting directly to the CEO. His role was to stream-line production and reduce task turn-around time for both internal design requests and client requirements. He audited existing brand exposure and re-launched IPT's market presence to a high, consistent standard across a multitude of platforms and across Europe.

PDV Ltd is an online Direct Marketing company specialising in permission marketing. His responsibilities as designer include generation of new online game concepts, brand design, game flow and user experience as well as online marketing. Flutter.com - Senior Designer(Feb '00 – July ‘01) Contract + Permanent
Flutter.com was the first person-to-person online betting exchange.Paul was brought in pre-launch to head the design team in designing, testing and implementing the brand and user-interface of flutter. The main challenge
that was overcome, was the creation of an online brand that introduced
a previously unseen product concept. The brand objective was to install trust
as well as the element of fun. Responsibilities includedLiaising with Directors and Board members on product design, lead team to meet tight deadlines and liaised with technical teams in both UK and San Francisco.

365 Corporation plc - Senior Designer(Aug '99 - Feb '00) Contract
365 are an online content provider supplying the user with sports, business, personals and gaming information. Paul’s involvement was to design user interfaces for new products that were being launched and work closely with the technical and content team to ensure that delivery was on time and to specification. A joint multimedia launch with new travel magazine ‘Escaperoutes’ and internet site being designed to a tight deadline. Responsible for designing
and implementing the Internet site in keeping with the brand of the magazine.

Worked on the new NTL interactive Television trial project which included titles such as The Radio Times, Gardeners World, Comedy Zone and Top Gear.Paul provided creative input on the styling of these sites, coded for multi-platform compatibility and worked closely with client and customers whist
still keeping to tight development and launch deadlines.
