The Land Centre issues the report No (65) today entitled "The Agricultural land of missed opportunities and the desired hope" of land and the farmer a series issued by the Center, this report addresses several sections about the importance of agricultural land in Egypt and the distribution and patterns of use as part of Egyptian history, ancient and modern, and must at all interested in public affairs in Egypt, but tired to talk with, because he will discover at the end of the day that the Egyptian history since the beginning of the human alternate feet on the ground of this country, has never been a history of the conflict between the Egyptians and the armies of occupation, nor was a record of the discussions of philosophers and scientists, as not competitive peaceful or bloody enact systems of governance and political theories, as it was and perhaps will remain for the foreseeable future, a history of struggle for the dust of the agricultural land and drop of water for irrigation, and proof of existence on a piece of this land to produce good and thrive, all people, whether owns the land or possessed of land on both.
This report is the record of a brief and very short of that struggle, through which we seek to examine the events of the past, present dilemmas, and dealing with flawed for a better future for our children of the past of our ancestors, and happier than the present generations.
The report begins with an outline brief for the beginnings of historical agriculture in Egypt and its inception, the discovery or invention, or both, and how Egypt was one of the first homelands of agriculture that were not home I have the privilege, with gestures light the extent permitted by the paper of the correlation between any renaissance of desired agricultural activities, and attention providing a source for irrigation, either to control the Nile River and adaptation of old, or find new sources of complementary and in the future.
It then lists the paper focused on points to the importance of agriculture, being the first activity for the majority of the population, and the first product of the food, the main source of raw materials for industry-funded etc.
In the page the next paper addresses the evolution of the ownership of agricultural land in Egypt, and how it is evidence of the magnitude of its importance since ancient times been subject to the will of the ruling, whatever it called managed by a proprietary name of the state, as a perhaps primitive capitalism the state, then move on to remember how moved ownership of the individuals, and those individuals in the beginning, what are the precursors first layer of the rich rural and feudal, and what is the price they paid so they can eventually owning no land, but also lead the country and the necks of slaves as inferior to their masters who gave them ownership and control.
Then moving to the role played by officers July 23, 1952, in the attempt to re-regulate the ownership of agricultural land, and determine the cap for the first time in Egyptian history of ownership, and redistribution increases the maximum amount of property to small farmers, and the attendant command of laws aimed at improve agriculture and irrigation, and empowerment of workers and peasants to intervene in the provision of agricultural inputs, marketing and organization of different mechanisms depending on the circumstances of each phase.
After Abdel Nasser phase, the interested people in the agricultural field hoped that the State shall treat the gaps and shortcomings that have marred by the agrarian laws of Abdel Nasser reform phase and its applications, and build on what produced from the pros, for greater empowerment of the farmers to hear their voice and involvement in the management of their affairs and in public affairs.
And lists the paper then moves disappointment agricultural and even national leaving a lack of good governance and the dominance of gangs National Party dissolved and its leaders and its president (who languished them in the prisons of the jar and fugitives, including alleged collusion and deceleration and awaiting word of the judiciary and history regarding their crimes against our country, guarded), and how they wasted a struggle for hundreds of years and got the Egyptian farmer homeland back to the worst eras of poverty and injustice, tyranny and corruption, banditry and looting.
Farmer losing his land, and will, dignity, and knew his way to prison owe to their land, having been raised well off their land is also important.
The Winding paper then quickly to the issue remained likes to talk about a long time despite the danger, namely the issue of security of tenure, agricultural importance and its components and how to achieve them, and remember the recommendations issued by many of the conferences and gatherings, international organizations, which emphasizes the importance of security of tenure of the lamentations of productivity and social development.
Then explain how the elements of security of tenure on the market laws of Egypt were absent and the total laws flawed and its devastating effects, which locked the farmer within the walls of possession of marginalized and hold the will of the King of the individual, who focused all his attention in sucking the blood of the tenant small perhaps as revenge or from the stage of history allowed him to be the owner of the For a few years.
Before the end of the paper recalls some of the information relating to land desert, which was reclaimed, which has spent on the rehabilitation of tens of billions of pounds, and how it was a magic solution was enough to remedy errors and even sins of the successive governments in respect of agricultural in general, and how the corrupt system based and orientations and the corruption and waste is discharged and bigotry hateful of money and its holders and owners and manipulators destiny of the country and people, and aversion repulsive to the poor peasants and laborers who told their sweat every inch in the country since the immemorial time to eternity, he wasted what has been reclaimed, and given him free of the League of Evil, which informed him after he took for himself and his entourage on what can not be quenched their thirst for money chronic Sacred and Sacred bit, and wandered in the paths of the poor honest people and villains corridors of the rulers.
The paper ends with what could be the Platform for Action is subject to building upon the civil society organizations and interested people and things on public affairs in order to fight a battle to recover the rights of peasants and the poor in particular, and the rights of the nation in general, in the current climate, in which we hope to continue until it is cleaned up the country and building a new home to ensure rights of all, and how it can contribute to civil society organizations to create organizational forms, for example, includes among its wings all the marginalized and oppressed by which to monitor the political, policy and share views and impose the will and the crooked-go, rather than the accumulation of corruption, as has happened so that it becomes difficult treatment.
