Input from Generator with Output to feed 2 separate panels within the server room.
The server room must be provided separate dedicated supply circuits terminated on dedicated panel(s). Lighting, utility outlets and air conditioning are to be supplied by a separate feeder.
Each rack/cabinet will require a power distribution strip.
Convenience utility duplex outlets shall be spaced 8 feet apart along the computer room walls.
The server room must have a common bonding network conforming to ANSI/TIA/EIA J-STD- 607-A.
UPS, will also need wiring to support network wiring closets throughout the building

2 – 5 ton units operate on chilled water with roof mounted DX condensing units on emergency power for back up. Include space for a future 5 ton unit for redundancy or growth.
We are looking for a chilled water supplied portable cooler for emergency backup in the event one of the 5 ton Lieberts fail.
Continuous HVAC operation shall be provided 24x7x365. The system must be supported by the stand-by generator.
The room temperature and humidity must be controlled providing the following operating ranges for temperature and humidity:
- Temperature range 68º F - 75º F.
- Relative Humidity: 40% - 60%.
- Maximum dew Point 69.8º F.
- Maximum rate of change 5º per hour.
- Ventilation should accommodate one air change per hour.

Perimeter walls should be full height slab to deck above, 1 hour rated construction, fire sealed and sealed to prevent chemical fire suppression leaks.

Fire protection sprinkler systems are not desirable but if required must be a “pre-action” system.

Other construction:
The ceiling and floors should be composed of lay in tile with a “clean room” vinyl faced gypsum. The tiles are to be smooth, non-particulating, faced tile with sufficient weight to prevent lift under pressure. (see attached: Ceiling Tile.pdf)
The T-bar shall have a neoprene seal.
Floors, walls and ceilings shall be sealed, painted or constructed of material to minimize dust. Floors will have anti-static properties, either linoleum or sealed concrete.
Construction of new metal studded walls is required inside the current brick exterior. Note: Current brick structure is not necessary to retain (optional).
Walls and Ceiling need to support a Cable Ladder Rack System.
Door needs to be secured via electronic key card system (building system) and physical key for emergency access.
Door size needs to accommodate rack size.
Lighting -Room lighting intensity of at least 50 foot candles at 3 feet above floor is required. Emergency lighting will be provided.
Storage:
Room will also include a 4x7 storage closet with shelves for server parts.
