Psychology and Social Science consultant
School / Beal High School
/ I relish the opportunity to help other schools succeed within their departments. I find myself increasingly driven to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
I have been Head of Psychology at Beal High school for four years and have enormously enjoyed the challenge of leading a successful department. I have overseen the huge transition from having just 20 pupils across year 12 and 13 to over 90 pupils whilst boosting exam results to within the top 10% of the country. This has been achieved through providing an engaging learning experience whilst ensuring continuous effective assessment. I look forward to sharing this experience with new schools.
I have had vast experience mentoring and supporting NQT’s, PGCE students and school’s direct trainees. This has stimulated my passion in developing staff members and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
As a Professional development consultant, I am able to extend my support beyond my own school into others, ensuring that all students receive the highest quality teaching and learning. I look forward to meeting with your team in order to work collaboratively and successfully achieve sustainable improvement.
