Dear Parent/Carer
Important Information for Year 11 students
I am writing to you today to inform you of some key information relating to the end of Year 11.
AS-Level and IGCSE Results Collection
English IGCSE results will be available for collection on Tuesday11th August from 9:00am – 11:00am in Mrs Farrington’s Office (Examinations Officer).
AS-Level Results will be available for collection on Thursday 13th August from 9:00am – 11:00am in the 6th Form Library.
GCSE Results day this year is on Thursday 20th August. Results will be available to collect from the school between 9.30am – 11.00am in the 6th Form Library. We would encourage your child to collect their results on this day as important decisions might need to be made regarding College applications and 6th Form. Many of the Year 11 staff, Bernie Corrighan our Careers Advisor and our Senior Leadership Team will be on hand to help with any queries that students may have. Further Information regarding 6th Form enrolment and results day can also be located on the school website and in the E-Bulletin (6th Form section).
GCSE Results for early entry Year 10 students will be available for collection on the 20th August at the slightly later time of 11:00am – 11:30am from the 6th Form Library.
Prom Night 2015
A further reminder that our very special Prom Night will be taking place on Thursday 25th June at the Cobham Curve Sports Club, Fairmile Lane, Cobham KT11 2BU from 7:30pm – 11:00pm. Taxi cabs will need to be pre-booked as there is no public transport to the venue. If there are any difficulties with this please let the school know as soon as possible. Deadline for purchasing tickets was Friday 22nd May and no further tickets will be made available. Thank you to those of you that have purchased tickets and made the payment. An e-mail has been sent to all studentsthat have purchased a ticket with an e-ticket attached for you to print off and bring with you on the evening.We all look forward to seeing you on the evening and if you have any queries, please contact a member of the KS4 team as soon as possible.
Leavers Hoodies 2015
The deadline for ordering the Hoodies was Friday 22nd May. Thank you to those of you that have purchased one of these. We are aiming to have these ready for collection on our GCSE Results Day on Thursday 20th August. Any queries, please contact Mr Williams in Finance.
Locker Keys
Any Year 11 student with a locker key needs to return this to Mr Williams in Finance as soon as possible. Your £20 deposit will then be sent home upon receipt of your locker key.
Subject Textbooks / Materials
Students need to return textbooks, revision guides and resources to their respective teacher as soon as possible. This ensures that we can re-use these again for next year and beyond. There will be two ideal opportunities to return textbooks. These will be on GCSE Results Day 20th August and also on the Coursework Collection Day, details below.
Coursework Collection
Year 11 students are able to collect coursework on the 16th November from 3:00pm – 5:30pm in the Ingenium. Mr Prichard and Mrs Farrington will be present for this.
Please note that Art Coursework cannot be collected until later in the year, this is usually in April as all work is used for display in the school until this point. Contact will need to be made with Miss Jennings in order for coursework to be collected in April.
