Award Information:

The IIA’s CIA Learning System (valued at $895) will be awarded to three(3) IIA members or students who are pursuing the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation. For CIA exam or membership information, please visit

Eligibility for IIA Members:

  • Active IIA membership
  • Registered for the CIA exam or eligible to sit for the CIA exam
  • Employed in a career in internal auditing or a closely related field

Eligibility for Students:

  • Must be a currently enrolled junior, senior or graduate student at a college or university. No specific major or course of study is required.
  • Intends on pursuing a career in internal auditing or a closely related field

Requirements:

  • Completed application (next page)
  • Copy of transcript at the end of the most recent semester you were enrolled in school (students only)
  • Copy of CIA exam registration (if applicable)
  • Resume
  • Character reference letter on school letterhead from a professor, instructor, or administrator at the school currently enrolled. (students only)
  • One-page personal narrative (next page)
