Update on Approved Courses and TMCs

Presently, 83CCCs have courses that have been granted C-ID numbers.
1311(+92 from April) courses have been granted C-ID numbers for 15 disciplines
294 (140 AG) C-ID descriptors have been approved
59draft descriptors are closed from vetting and FDRGs are currently being convened for consideration of vetting comments.

347 AA-T and AS-T aligned degrees approved in the Chancellor’s Office
C-ID is moving forward on thefollowing disciplines to either post drafts or finalize descriptors:

Faculty from Nursing and Engineering are meeting to continue discussions of statewide efforts to align their curriculum and develop course descriptors.

While your technical change updates can be made directly in the C-ID edit area, we are presently working with ASSIST to determine if we can just get these changes directly from ASSIST through our data uploads with ASSIST. More to come …..

ASSIST update
Some of you have asked about when C-ID data will begin to appear in ASSIST. We are happy to report that you should start to see C-ID data in ASSIST by late summer.
