PM1 Session

1:42pm Mike McInnis opened the meeting

Reviewed schedule

Review of this weeks agenda items

Tim Harrington made a motion to approve the minutes

Review of Timeline: currently behind by two to four months

Review of Meeting goals

Russ Chandler made a motion to approve the minutes

Unanimously approved

Tim Harrington presented document number 176-00.

This document proposed resolutions to some of the document 804-03 TBDs that TG4f discussed during ad-hoc teleconference calls between Jan 2010 and March 2010.

Adrian Jennings presented document number 804-06.

Discussion occurred which resulted in 804-07 and then 804-08

Motion: To accept document 15-09-0804-08-004f as the TG4f revised baseline draft PHY document.

8:08am Mike McInnis opened the meeting

At 8:40am we recessed for 15 minutes to allow the next speaker to finish and post their document on the IEEE 802 document server.

At 8:56 Mike McInnis called the meeting back to order.

Andy Ward presented document 192-00

Discussion occurred.

Tim Harrington presented document 161-03

Slide 11 is new

We were asked to take part in a joint IEEE 802.18, TG4e/f/g meeting during the Tuesday AM2 session to discuss work going on with ETSI 300 328 which may affect IEEE 802.15 radio use in Europe.

AM2 Session

TG4f participants met in a joint IEEE 802.18, TG4e/f/g meeting and discussed potential issues with changes being proposed to ETSI 300 328 which may affect IEEE 802.15.4 radios. This meeting began at 10:30am.

The Joint IEEE 802.18, TG4e/f/g meeting adjourned at 11:45

Mike McInnis made an announcement that 802.15.4f will be called into order immediately following this joint meeting.

11:55am Mike McInnis opened the meeting

We discussed what we had learned in the joint IEEE 802.18, TG4e/f/g meeting and whether it would affect our work in TG4f.

AM1 Session

8:06am Mike McInnis opened the meeting

And Ward presented additions to his document 0192-01.

Discussion occurred.

Dalibor Pokrajac presented his 433 MHz PHY draft text document 0220-00.

Discussion occurred.

Following Dalibors presentation the group decided to write three draft PHY documents, Dalibor’s will support the 433 MHz PHY, a 2.4 GHZ PHY document will be created as well as a UWB PHY document.

Edits, revisions, changes, additions, etc. will be made in these three PHY documents then they will be merged into one document.

Adrian Jennings presented document 0145-01

Discussion occurred and as a result Adrian will update this document.

After some discussion about readiness to present documents the group went into recess until 1:50pm.

1:50pm Mike McInnis called the meeting back to order.

Adrian Jennings presented document 0145-03.

Discussion occurred and this document was revised to 0145-04 during Adrian’s presentation.

Motion: To accept proposal in document 15-10-0145-04-004f for incorporation into the baseline draft PHY document 0804-08.

4:02pm Mike McInnis opened the meeting

Billy Verso presented document 0205-00

Discussion occurred.

Billy was asked to develop a document which TG4f could review, vote on, and submit to IEEE 802.15.4e for insertion into their draft MAC standard which is being released for letter balloting after this meeting.

TG4f participants requested that we go into recess so that they would have time to work on their documents prior to the social event starting at 6pm.

Adrian Jennings presented documents 148-02, 148-03, 148-04.

Discussion occurred.

Adrian created a new document during the discussion, document 206-00.

Discussion continued.

As a result of further discussion Adrian will revise document 206-00 to 206-01.

Billy Verso presented document 0211-00.

Discussion occurred.

Motion: To accept blink frame primitives draft text in document 15-10-0211-00-004e and submit it to 802.15.4e for inclusion in their draft MAC standard document 15-10-0604-06-004e.

Dalibor Pokrajac presented document 0619-00

Adrian began discussing the inclusion of the proposals which were voted upon and passed into the 0804-08 document. Adrian first presented 0804-09 and further discussion occurred.

As a result of the discussion a 20 minute recess was requested in order to complete the updates to his 0206-00 document and revising it to 0206-01.

At 11:46am the meeting was called back to order by Mike McInnis.

Adrian Jennings presented document 0206-01.

Discussion occurred.

As a result of discussion Adrian created document 0219-00 during the meeting.

Discussion continued.

Motion: To accept proposal in document 15-10-0219-00-004f for incorporation into the baseline draft PHY document 0804-08.

Discussion occurred.

As a result of further discussion Andy withdrew the motion.

Adrian Jennings presented 0804-09, revised it to 0804-10 and posted it on the server then found additional errors in the document while going through it on the overhead projector with the TG4 group. Document 0804-10 was then further revised and posted on the IEEE 802.15 document server as 0804-11.

Motion: To accept document 15-10-0804-11-004f as the going forward baseline draft PHY document.
