Socializing

Example: I am a new student in your school. Greet me and we will talk about ourselves. (You start the conversation.)

Providing & Obtaining Information

II.  Know the following expressions:

Repita, por favor. - Repeat please. (Still on 1st attempt.)

III.  The following types of responses do not count as points on the exam:

·  Simple yes/no responses will not be counted.

Teacher:“¿Cómo se llama tu madre?”

Student: “Linda.” (Bad response)

Student: “Mi madre se llama Linda.” (Good response)

·  Restatements of all or essential parts of what the teacher has said will not be counted. Add to or change up the answer to show you understand the question and can give another valid answer. Show off!

For example:

Teacher: “I like to play soccer.”

Student: I like to play soccer.”

You must add to it or change it in some way.

For example: “I like to play soccer and baseball.”

“I like to play soccer a lot.”

“I don’t like soccer, I prefer football.”
