- verifying: checking, correcting and matching and coding data on

incoming invoices, credit notes, statements, letters, etc. using

Mainframe internal system and Brainware Verifier system.

- allocating and sending documentsto appropriate department;

- matching quoted on the invoices goods with goods-in records in the

internal system;

- working closely within department to improve invoices standards as

well as advise internal departments on AP compliance, among these

verifying and correcting data base of the suppliers in the system;

2014 Sept.-2015 May: ‘’Countrywide Farmers’’ - Accounts Payable Clerk;

- checking and coding invoices against delivery notes, good-in forms

etc., using TRAXs and OPEN ACCOUNTS system –mainly equestrian

department + transport;

- dealing with authorization of the invoices by appropriate persons;

- claiming credit notes, asking to investigate discrepancies, asking for

the packing list for of the goods, proof of deliveries, statements, etc.;

- reconciling the accounts;

2012 –Sept. 2014: ‘’Severn & Wye Smokery’’ –Purchase Ledger Clerk.

Main duties:

- checking the invoices against deliverynotes, goods-in forms etc,

using SAGE 50;

(My work covered both the main site and the new branch in Grimsby;

also some invoices for the overseas branch in USA)

- dealing with authorization of the invoices by appropriate persons, dealing with different departments as e.g. Quality Departmenet;

- allocating the appropriate codes for particular goods/services on

invoices e.g. inputting separately carriage, raw materials for the

restaurant/shop etc.

- recognizing VAT codes in SAGE system,knowing when to set up

a new supplier or correct the old one;

- claiming credit notes, POD, dealing with supplier by phone and

e-mails;

-checking work-hours & route of the driver using the Quartix vehicle

trackingsystem (hours and places);

- at the end of the current month and beginning of the new one, I would

prepare an estimated for the Financial Director (showing what invoices

and credit notes are still expected, what is their value and if any

difficulties with individual suppliers have arisen during the period etc);

- reconciling the accounts;

- filing and archiving paid invoices;

- translation into Polish, French

- answeringphone calls;

-copying, faxing, e-mailing and other ad hoc duties.
