Candidate Biographies for 2008 Board of Director’s Election

Arnie Caine, Owner of 165 Christina Landing
Arnie is a Philadelphia native who has lived in Delaware for 25 years. Arnie is a current Board member and feels that a strong Homeowner's Association is the key to maintaining an attractive and vibrant community. He has held various Board positions with local non-profit organizations and is well networked with the community and local governments.

Cathie Field-Lloyd, Owner of 192 Christina Landing
Cathie Field Lloyd has been thePresident of the Christina Landing Board of Directors for two years. She and her husband, Lee, were the 6th family to move into Christina Landing. She has two adult stepdaughters, one living in New York and one in Atlanta - and a brand new grandson, Jayden Devan. Cathie and her husband enjoy living in the community and are very excited about the ongoing development of the riverfront.In her two years asPresident,Cathie, in close cooperation with the board, has emphasized the importance of input from all homeowners and has worked to put systems in placeto facilitate communication.
After 10 years as theExecutive Director of the Opportunity Center (OCI), a nonprofit organization that helps people with disabilities become employed, Cathie recently made a career change. OnJanuary 3rd, Cathie returned to her alma mater asPresident of Ursuline Academy, a private, catholic school for boys from pre-school through 3rd grade and for girls through high school.

Daniel Horowitz, Owner of 153 Christina Landing
Dan has been a Christina Landing resident since July, 2006, and during his time in the community, has been a vocal advocate of continued redevelopment in the community by speaking at the August 23, 2007 hearing at which the city council passed the South Walnut Street Redevelopment Plan and meeting with civic leaders to discuss the future of the community and to make sure that they do not take Ed Osborne’s antics at face value without hearing the other side of the story. Dan is an attorney specializing in corporate governance, and frequently advises major corporations on the content of their certificates of incorporation, bylaws and governance procedures. This year, Dan advised the board on their proposed revisions to the association’s certificate of incorporation and bylaws. Finally, in addition to owning his townhouse, he also owns one of the units in the condo tower, and is planning to run for the board of the condo association (once it is formed) with the goal of establishing a good working relationship between the two associations and examining ways in which we can join forces to take advantage of economies of scale (i.e. hiring a single contractor to handle snow removal for the entire community and sharing the cost proportionally).

Ed Kosmowski, Owner of 177 Christina Landing

Ed currently serves as Vice President of the Home Owners' Association and is a full time and one of Christina Landing's original residents. He has resided in Delaware for the past six years and has worked as an attorney for Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP in Wilmington for the past eight years. Ed volunteers with the Office of the Child Advocate, representing neglected and abused children in custody and welfare proceedings and has worked with Our Youth Inc. a non-profit organization working to transform the lives of at-risk youths through community outreach programs designed to provide the skills for success in educational, emotional, and spiritual development. Ed appreciates the opportunity given to him by the community and he is committed to ensuring that the Board continues to work for the betterment of the community and on behalf of its residents.

Alex Pawluk, Owner of 146 Christina Landing
Alex is the currently a board member of the Christina Landing HOA. Alex would like to continue to serve on the Board to take the information that he has learned about the community over the past year and apply it to what is forthcoming for 2008. He has been involved in many community projects this year and would like to see them carried out to completion next year (e.g. awnings for 3rd floor decks, booster fans, improved

landscaping).

Alex is a Quality Assurance Manager for Cephalon, a biotech company in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Alex and his wife, Talia, are full time residents of Christina Landing who care very much about the community and want to have a safe, clean and attractive community to live in.

Kelly Solms, Owner of 169 Christina Landing
Kelly is the current acting Secretary of the Christina Landing Board of Directors. Kelly would like to continue to serve on the Board, using the knowledge she has gained this year to finish community projects underway and to address upcoming issues and homeowner concerns. In addition to having been to every Board and HOA meeting held this year, she has also made every effort to attend all meetings which pertain to the community including Zoning and Variance requests, the Southbridge Civic Association, BPG roofing meetings, and the City Council meeting in July where she spoke on behalf of the community in favor of the South Walnut Street Urban Renewal Plan.

Kelly is a concert violinist who is the founding member of a professional string quartet, a music teacher, and currently performs with the Delaware Symphony.

Phyllis Wellons, Owner of 194 Christina Landing
Phyllis has served on the Board of Directors for the past two years and would like to continue to serve on the Board of Directors in whatever capacity deemed necessary. She experience includes serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors of 306-308 S. 13th Street Condo Association, Philadelphia, PA and as Treasurer on the Board of Directors on the Brennan Estates Homeowners Association, Bear, Delaware. Phyllis is very active in serving the community through various mentoring and volunteer activities, which include mentoring through the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware and the Delaware HOST Program at F. D. Stubbs Intermediate School in Wilmington, in addition to volunteering for the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity. In light of serving on several Boards in various communities, she is committed to maintaining the integrity of Christina Landing and ensuring that the Board of Directors works in the best interest of the homeowners, residents, and community at large.

Donald Wesnofske, 151 Christina Landing
Don Wesnofske is a Certified Public Account licensed in the State of Maryland. He is a resident of Christina Landing and has owned his unit for three years. Don has over 25years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer or Chief Risk Officer for large manufacturing and Wall Street financial services firms. Don is currently employed by IBM Corporation as a senior manager specializing is Risk Management.

Larry Wilde, Owner of 178 Christina Landing
Larry is the current Treasurer of the Christina Landing Board. Larry earned his B.S. in accounting at the University of Delaware. Larry owns a commercial real estate development and property firm and manages over $50 million of commercial property in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Larry served as the President and Treasurer of Archmere Academy’s Father’s Club.
