I.T.S Mohan Nagar Campus organized ‘TRIVIA 2017’ – 2nd Inter Corporate Quiz

I.T.S Mohan Nagar Campus successfully organized ‘TRIVIA 2017’ – 2nd Inter Corporate Quiz on Saturday 29th April 2017, at Chanakya Auditorium.
The registrations were received from renowned companies and PSU’s like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Indian Oil Panipat Refinery, Maruti Suzuki Limited, Deloitte, Value Research, Hero Motor Corp. Ltd, Barclay, Rate Gain Travel Technologies, Landis & Gyr, NIIT, Aanaxagoras R Software Pvt. Ltd., Sampark Insurance & Financial Services, Times Business Solutions, 9X Media, Investors Clinic and many others.
The Inaugural ceremony of the event started with the lamp lighting jointly by Chief Guest Mr. Sudhir Zutshi, Director- Govt. & Industry Affairs, South Asia, UL India Pvt. Ltd, Guest of Honor Dr. Subhash Jagota, Director – Global Business Solutions, Vice Chairman, I.T.S Education Group, Mr. Arpit Chadha along with Director General, Dr. A. K. Puri, Director - UG, Dr. Vidya Sekhri, Director - I.T, Dr. Sunil Pandey, Vice Principle- UG , Dr. S. Bhattacharya and the Co-convener of the event, Ms Nancy Sharma.
The associate sponsors of the event were Bombay Stock Exchange & Net Edge Technology.The theme for the competition was BEST (Business, Entertainment, Sports and Technology). The event started with an elimination written round after which top 12 teams compete amongst themselvesin two semi-final rounds. Finally, top 6 teams contend in final round to grab winning positions. Mr. Kunal Savarkar, renowned quiz masterconducted the show in a spell binding manner while keeping audience at the edge of their seats. The teams showcased their teamworkwith a great mix of talent, energy and enthusiasm.
The Winner’s trophy and cash prize of Rs. 25,000/- was won by Value Research and emerged as first Prize winner of thecompetition. Second position was clutched by Deloitte and won cash prize of Rs. 18,000/-, with 1st Runner Up trophy. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. stood at third position and lifted 2nd Runner Up trophy with cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-.
Two Special prizes as ‘BSE Institute Best Quizzardo Male’ and ‘BSE Institute Best Quizzardo Female’ of Rs. 5000/- each were grabbed by Mr. Rohan Khanna and by Ms. Priyanka Mehta respectively. They are felicitated by our Special Guest Mr. Pullock Bhattacharji, Vice President, BSE Institute Ltd along with our esteemed dignitaries.
All the semi-finalists and finalists were awarded with certificates and attractive gifts. There were many fabulous prizes awarded to audience foronline rounds. The esteemed dignitaries appreciated and congratulated each participating team and wished success in their future endeavours.
