I.Planning for the first All CouncilMeeting
a.Jeff and Debbie will be joining us for the first tenminutes...
i.We will have Jeff and Debbie joining us at the beginning of the meeting to share that we would like to name the DLC scholarship the McCubbin Leadership Scholarship; they don’t knowyet.
ii.Kelsey will prepare a slide for the beginning with the nameand description on it for display; andprintouts
Here’s the bio we gave to Katie for establishing; Jeff and Debbie already gave their half of the scholarship funding:
The McCubbin Leadership Scholarship was established by the members of the Dean’s Leadership Council and the McCubbin family to honor Dean Jeff McCubbin and his wife Debbie in their commitment to the students of the College of Health and Human Sciences. Dean McCubbin’s career at Colorado State University has and continues to profoundly impact students. Jeff has served as a mentor and leader to scholars within the College, and the Dean’s Leadership Council created this scholarship to further encourage future rams to be involved within the CSU community and know that they are supported from the top down. This award is given to an undergraduate student in any Health and Human Sciences Major, and preference will be given to undergraduate students who participate in a form of college, major, or leadershiporganization.
iii.Reach out to all our DLC students in advance and ask each ofthem to have a special moment or memory that shows the impact the McCubbin’s have had to share withthem
iv.Give Jeff and Debbie a picture frame of an All-Council photo with Jeff in it
v.Have pieces of paper on the tables before meeting to write nice things about Jeff

i.Traditionally, we provide dinner at the first meeting of each semester. We will have Pizza at our next all council meeting (in Feb), but not the first meeting of the year. Would we like to supply candy or some sort of welcome backtreat?
