Dear friends,

I hope this letter finds all of you well. God has done a lot this past year within our family. James is a freshman at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX. He is having enjoying playing trombone for the World FamousCowboy band. Jaima is now driving and a junior at Boswell HS. Helen is in her third year at Lone Star Elementary and teaching special needs. She loves teaching her kiddos and enjoys serving in the youth at our church. Dale is starting his Masters Degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. This year Dale was able to be a part of the Saginaw High School football program as their Chaplain. He is still there and loving on students and coaches and living life with them. God has blessed our ministry here at Fellowship and He continues to do great work in the lives of our students!

This summer, we(Dale, Helen, & Jaima) have a wonderful opportunity to go to Memphis, TN with LeaderTreks. Our job while there will be to partner with a local church in two parts. The first half of the day we will go serve others in the community through service projects. The second half of the day we will be working on building relationships in the community through VBS, a sports camp, or a back yard bible club. We are partnering with a local church so when we leave there, there will bethose who are able to follow up with the people we ministered to who live in the community.

For us to go on the mission trip, each of us is responsible for raising our own support; the cost for this trip is $565.00 per person. Since all three of us are going, we need to raise about $1,695 to cover our cost of the trip. Would you prayerfully consider investing in this mission trip? Your gift will be used toward God’s work in reaching the lost with the Gospel in Memphis, TN.The initial deposit of $113 per person is due by January 31 and subsequent monthly payments of $113 per person. All monies are due by May 15th.

While money is essential for us to go on this trip, the most vital part of supporting our trip is prayer support. In order to make this trip possible, we not only need monetary support, we need petitionary prayer support from you. “Nothing of eternal significance happens apart from prayer” is something that has been said many times. We especially ask that you keep us in your prayers for traveling mercies and for God to prepare our hearts and the hearts of those we will be ministering to in Memphis. We will arrivein Memphis onJune 19th and return to Saginaw on June 25th. Please consider committing to praying for us as we go toTennessee to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
