STATEMENT OF PROCEDURE
  • This procedure is to give guidelines on temporary and portable buildings including trailers which could contain personnel brought onto the plant site.

  • All placement of temporary/portable buildings, including trailers which could contain personnel, must be approved through MOC. A SAP Notification must be written and marked with the task of MOC Required.
  • Temporary buildings/trailers cannot be occupied by personnel in the operating areas of the plantor impacted by blast zones.
  • All temporary/portable buildings/trailers must be in good condition.
  • All steps and stairs leading into the building must be free of hazards. All stairs will meet the requirements of OSHA’s Walking Working Surfaces.
  • Housekeeping will be maintained in and around the building at all times. This includes mowing and weed eating around the building.
  • The guidelines outlined in the Green Lake Complex SOSO I-D-16.00 Eating and Drinking will be strictly followed.
  • Electrical hook up will be made by GreenLake site personnel.

The following items will be addressed for each temporary building brought onto the plant site.

  1. A list of all flammables and combustibles and inspection must be updated and provided to the Green Lake Complex Safety department on a weekly basis. A copy of the building contents must also be posted outside the building’s main entrance.
  2. All flammables must be appropriately stored in approved flammable cabinets.
  3. Combustibles will be kept away from any potential ignition source.
  4. A key to the building must be left with the Main Guard Gate at all times.
