Dear Parents of El Molino, Russian River Rampart Seniors and Laguna,
The graduation party for the senior class will be held on June 2, 2017 immediately following the graduation. This is THE PARTY of the year for the seniors (an event attended by almost every senior!). It will be their last chance to be with all the friends they have gone to school with for years. This is a safe, drug and alcohol free, activity-filled party for the kids put on by the Project Graduation Committee and the Incredible Support from the Community.
The Project Graduation Committee needs your help! You can participate a lot or a little, but please volunteer. Help is needed throughout the school year to prepare for the BIG EVENT as well as the night of the party itself. Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at the Forestville Fire Department at 6:00 p.m. For more information or to offer your time and your talents, Zeena Anderson @ 583-3494

El Molino High School Project Graduation 2017 Contract
You must agree to the terms of this contract and return this copy with the requested information and signatures. You may not attend Project Grad 2016 if we do not have your completed contract. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
Item 1:ATTENDANCE Please DO NOTbring any money or valuables with you to the party. Check in is from immediately after graduation in the school cafeteria. All seniors are bused to and from the party. You will be denied admission if you do not arrive by bus with your classmates. You agree to remain at the event site for the entire party and return to El Molino by our bus. We must notify the parent/guardian or alternate contact person of a senior who does not arrive at the party or who leaves the party before it is over. Any senior leaving the party or not returning to El Molino by bus forfeits all prizes.
Project Grad is responsible for returning students to the El Molino High School parking lot. As students will have been up all night and as part of our commitment to keep them safe, we require that you pick up your graduate between 3:30 and 4:00 am in the school parking lot.
Item 2:DRUGS INCLUDING ALCOHOL The intent of Project Grad is to provide a safe, drug and alcohol free environment where graduates can celebrate on statistically the most dangerous night of their high school career.The possession or influence and/or use of drugs or alcohol by any graduate, party staffer or entertainer are not permitted.Students may be asked to remove hats, outerwear, shoes or boots and understand that any backpack or purse or any other item of personal possession maybe subject to search by a committee member of Project Grad. Guardians will be contacted if their student is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs and will be asked to pick up the senior. The senior may be held in an area separate from the party for observation. If Project Graduation feels the student should be sent home, ONE attempt will be made to reach the parent/guardian at the phone number listed on this form. If we cannot reach the parent/guardian at the phone number provided, we reserve the right to call the police or ambulance for emergency assistance depending on the severity and/or condition of the student. The student will not be reimbursed for the cost of his/her ticket nor any charges related to any emergency care.
Item 3:ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND The Project Grad party is for El Molino and Russian River Rampart seniors only.No other students or adults (other than designated volunteers) may attend or gain admittance for any purpose.
Item 4: If your picture is not in the yearbook, please bring a photo ID with you. A photocopy of your California driver’s license will do.
My child wishes to participate in El Molino Project Graduation. I understand that there are risks and dangers incidental to my child’s participation in this event and that there is a risk that my child could be injured. I hereby give my consent for my child to participate in this even and I, on behalf of myself and my child, assume the risk and dangers associated with my child’s participation in this event.
The undersigned party fully understands that El Molino Project Graduation does not provide, nor does it have available, any health or accident insurance for volunteers or participants of the graduation party. In return for El Molino Project Graduation permitting my child to participate in El Molino Project Graduation, I hereby release and waive on my own behalf, or behalf of my child, and on behalf of any persons claiming by or through me, or my child, any and all claims or causes of action for ordinary negligence which I or my child may have against El Molino Project Graduation, its officers, directors, agents, employees and volunteers arising out of or resulting from any and all injuries, accidents, illnesses ordamages of any nature including death, which my child may suffer while taking part in the event or any activity connected to the event.
IN SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT I have read the foregoing Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement. I understand it and sign it voluntarily as my own free will: no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written Agreement, have been made; I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and execute the Agreement for full, adequate and complete consideration fully intended to be bound by same.
We agree to this contract for El Molino Project Graduation 2017, and will keep our Family Copy for reference.
