Overview of the year:
All students will have access to a range of ‘core sports’. These sports are: Trampolining, Hockey, Football, Rugby, badminton, Basketball, Athletics, Cricket, and Swimming. The list goes on. You will be able to analyse, strategize, and observe and assess each other at all sports.
All students will have access to a range of different sports within the extra curricula (lunchtime and after school clubs) timetable. We would like to see as many different students attending as many different clubs. We will have competitive matches against other schools and also fixtures against houses within HWS. / Ways to consolidate and extend your learning in PE:
  • We will run premier league experience events
  • Run extra curricula clubs in all the sports we teach.
  • International sports tours.
  • Influential people within sports will visit your lessons
  • Literacy in PE events
  • Inter house competitions.
  • School competitions in a variety of sports.
