We begin the new year with great plans, including the loan program, mentoring and several fund raising ideas. We finished 2014 on a high note and expect 2015 to be just as productive! Staff and volunteers have attended several conferences regarding poverty and needs in our community. The needs have not diminished from our vantage point. We are still being over whelmed with needs and are seeing many new clients. Our jobs available board is seen by applicants from other agencies and is much appreciated. Free Dental Clinic and Ways 4 Working are being inundated. We are hoping with the opening of Remington and Polaris many of our clients will be employed and on their way to financial security.

The North HAP GED Program is a big hit. At present they have five (5) students and are providing a great service. Our volunteers oversee the child care that enables mothers and fathers to bring little one with them during this study time.

We have referred a number of clients to CWJC and to ELM. Both agencies work with women to secure further education, jobs and self-esteem. It takes all of us working together!

Respectfully submitted,
