Do you know someone who has an illness that you would like to understand? Are you curious about how a certain body system works? Do you think that a career in medicine would be awesome?

The Human Body Project provides you with an opportunity to explore
your individual area of interest.
The question:

For this assignment you must:
J From the list provided on the Health and Wellness page of iConn.org, choose an area of interest and have it approved by Mrs. Johnson
J Research your topic using iConn.org, books on the topic or acceptable websites
J Document your resources
J Complete the organizer that describes your project and what you have learned(see assessment sheet)
J Produce a visual teaching poster (see assessment sheet)

May 31 Project is assigned; project topics are available on the Health and Wellness page of iConn.org
June 5 Project proposal due; if you have not yet chosen a topic one will be assigned to you on this day
June 5 Library Media Center research with Mrs. Petti
June 5 – 6 Library Media Center research days
June 13 Project organizer and project resource list is due
June 15/18 Teaching poster is due (6/15);whole team wellness exhibit scavenger hunt
