Hub City Soccer Club Parents & Players,

We want to make you all aware of a significant change regarding team jerseys/shirts going into the Spring 2018 City League season. In the past, we have distributed a T-shirt to every player for use during the season. At the end of the season, those shirts many times ended up in the rag bin, or at the bottom of a drawer.

Going into this Spring season, each player in the U7 (Birth year 2011) and older leagues will receive 2 (two) high quality “Dri-Fit” Hub City Soccer jerseys/shirts…..one red and one blue. These jerseys will be the game jerseys, and the home team (as listed on the game schedule) will wear RED jerseys, and the visiting team (as listed on the game schedule) will wear BLUE jerseys for each game.

These jersey/shirts will be handed out on several dates coming up prior to the season, along with your Red Wheel fundraising packet. Because we have so many shirts to distribute, we will break it down by the players last name:

Sunday April 15th:

1:30pm: Player last names starting with A through E

2:30pm: Player last names starting with F through K 3:30pm: Player last names starting with L through R

4:30pm: Player last names starting with S through Z

5:30pm-8:00pm: All players who could not make their designated time (Last names A through Z)

Thursday April 19th

5:30pm-7:00pm: Any players who could not make the April 14th date (Last names A through Z)

Saturday April 21st

8:00am-2:00pm – Any players who have not yet picked up their jerseys

All of the above jersey distributions will take place at the Soccer Complex South Concession Stand building, and the players will be able to try shirts on for sizing as needed.

If you cannot attend your assigned/date time, you may certainly pick up your jerseys at one of the other listed times, but in the interest of running everybody through as quickly as possible, please try to show up at your listed time if you can. If you cannot make any of listed times, please contact the soccer office.

Please do note – These “Dri-Fit” jerseys are being provided this Spring at no cost to the players. As noted, they will be used in future seasons also, so players should not discard them after the Spring season. If players lose them, destroy them, grow out of them, or just want some extras…..….replacement jersey/shirts are available at the soccer office at a cost of $10 each.

One last item of note. As has been previously communicated, due to Winter weather conditions that will not seem to go away, our season start date has been pushed back to Saturday, April 21st. Team rosters will be posted at jersey handout on Sunday, April 15th. Coaches will also be receiving team rosters on Sunday, April 15th, and players can expect a call from your coach shortly after that date. There will be no team practice until after April 15th as the complex will still be closed.
