ACCOUNT MANAGER – ROLE PROFILE

Hours of work: / You are required to work 37.5 hours a week. A flexible approach is essential as you will be required to work outside of normal hours to achieve company goals. Travel is required in this role.
Travel & Overnight: / Occasional
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Outbound Account management and Telesales to a portfolio of clients and prospects, generating revenue through Ad sales.
  • To effectively present the product and proposition to Potential Clients and Media Agencies.
  • Secure appointments with relevant Agencies / Clients with a view to building a successful business relationship.
  • To Effectively develop the client relationship to maximise revenue opportunity
  • Maintain and grow client base through delivery of “industry leading” account management and customer service to customers.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the Business on any key operational issues identified with the proposition to help develop the business.

Previous Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will have previous telesales or account management experience. Ideally they will have worked in the Automotive or media sales industries.
Essential Skills
  • Previous Telesales Experience.
  • Evidence of ability to build and develop business relationships with key clients.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • PC literate and numerate.
  • Full UK driving license.
Desired Skills
  • Understanding of automotive new car sales
  • Experience within the media or automotive sectors.

KPI’s and Key Targets
To achieve all agreed monthly KPI’s and Targets, including but not limited to;
  • Revenue Generated
  • Lead Generation and Account Management Contacts made
  • Number of new customers signed up
  • Customer Satisfaction and on-going service delivered
  • Number of Customers within Contract

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong drive, be eloquent and charismatic and present a trustworthy and reliable demeanour. They must have a vivacious, outgoing personality, be easy to talk to with a good sense of humour and demonstrate a natural ability to build rapport.
The Key account Manager will be easily able to build rapport and understand the balance between closing and building solid long term relationships, they will display an ability to win peoples trust and show strong objection handling skills, demonstrating a hunger to succeed and be the best at what they do.
