MATTERS ARISING
Map reprint– carried forward to next meeting.
Rail Trip – confirmed to be on 22.6.13 to Dundee, final numbers and train times to be confirmed.
TREASURERS REPORT AND FUND RAISING
Treasurers Report:Balance- £1327.15p of which £500.00p ring fenced for maps.
Bird food - £30.00 cash on hand.
May Fayre – Banner procured at cost of £25.00p, Publicity posters produced including roadside plaques. 2 separately coloured books of admission tickets obtained for adults and children. 13 stall holders definitely booked. HWW stall will have bird food, tablet and guess number of sweets in jar. Model car game discussed. Sweets to be bought for prizes. Tea hatch – 30cl cups bought for soup and tea/coffee, also salt/pepper sachets, juice, teaspoons. Tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits – CS will purchase, Bread and milk – AC.
Sponsored bag pack – carried forward meantime.
Grant applications – LAG defunct, LAC awaiting costings.
Race night proposal – will not now take place.
BEAUTIFUL HOWWOOD
Village Planters- Bulbs are coming through in tubs.
Railway station – additional 4 planter troughs on hand for ScotRail to fix on site.
GAP SITE PROJECTS:
RHOMBUSW.Caldwell to obtain tree, then three previously obtained plaques to be positioned.
Community service tasks – Group leader has been given task list, no timescale for completion.
Woodland Trust Saplings application – will know in October if successful.
ISTHMUS- No issues.
TRIANGLE- No issues.
TCV GREEN GYM TASKS – awaitingattendance date for May.
WALKS – Next is Monday 27th May at 1 pm – Subject to availability, W.Shaw agreed to lead.
