How to use Alarm System

1. When you exit

(1) Wait until green light (ready) comes on after closing all doors in the premise.

(2) Enter your four-digit pin number, and make sure that red light (armed) is on.

(3) Exit the premise in 60 seconds ( delay time )

2. When you enter

(1) When you open the entrance door, the keypad will make the beep sound.

(2) Enter your four-digit pin number within the delay time (usually 25 seconds).

- If you made an error mistakenly, then press # key (underneath of figure 9) twice,

And enter your pin number again.

NOTE

In case of house, you can move inside of house after setting alarm system. However, you have to disarm the alarm system by entering the pin number if anyone comes in or out while somebody stays in the house.

3. When false alarm occurs:

(1) If false alarm has occurred, press # key (underneath of figure 9) twice and enter your pin number to stop the siren.

(2) If you stopped the siren within a minute, there will be no call from monitoring station, and your

calling to monitoring station is not necessarily required.

(3) If the siren blows off more than a minute, you have to contact with the monitoring station.

Reminder 1) You will not be able to use the phone for a minute after false alarm.

2) Memory (red light) will comes on keypad after false alarm, but alarm

system works properly.

5. To avoid false alarm

(1) Make sure that doors are secured after setting the alarm system.

(2) Check if pets or birds are inside of premises.

(3) Check if there is something (calendar, curtain, blind, etc.) that may move by air coming from air condition, fan, or heater and window is being opened.

(4) Check if there is a possibility that displayed products can be falling down.

(5) Check if balloon or advertisements are moving in the air.

(6) Set up a rat trap or use rat poison, if there is a possibility of false alarm occurred by rats

(7) Make sure that any insect (bee, butterfly, etc.) doesn’t come into the premise.

(8) Make sure that box does not cover Motion detector and remove spider web in front of Motion detector.

(9) If you relocated counter, your next store is empty or change your phone company, give a call to KOCOM Security Inc. as soon as possible.
