How to save your Audacity Projects at school
Step One: Creating an MP3 File
Finish editing your Radio Broadcast and use the drop-down FILE menu to select “Export as MP3”.
Step Two: Saving it in the right place!
When you have completed Step One the “Save MP3 as” box should pop up. Follow these steps:
1. Open up “My Computer”
2. Click on the “StuWriteOnly” folder.
3. Open up the “Russian Radio Broadcasts for Mr Halligan” folder. This will be available from Week Two of the assignment..
4. Change the File Name to YOUR name
5. Save!
Step Three
When the “Edit the ID Tags” box comes up you need to change the title to “Russian Revolution” and the author to your name. You can leave the genre as ‘Blues’.
How to submit the assignment to me from home
1. Follow the same steps but instead of using StuWriteOnly save the MP3 on your computer. Email the MP3 to me as an attachment. My email address is .

2. Hand it in on a USB to me in the Social Sciences Office between 8:00 and 8:30 on Monday morning (April 11). I will need to keep your USB until it can be virus-checked. This may take a couple of days so assume you will not get it back until Wednesday.
