How to prepare abstracts for APSPT-9/SPSM-28

1. General

The authors of papers are requested tosubmit a one-page abstract. All of the contents of a manuscript will be printed inmonochrome.

2. Typing

The abstract should be prepared inEnglish with A4-size (2129.5cm) form, using single spacing with the type font being 10.5 point Times Roman.Please leave2.5 cm margins on the top, bottom, and both the left and right. The length of an abstract isstrictly limited to 1 pagefor papers,including figures and tables.The abstracts should be justified on both the left and right.

3. Title

The title of the paper should be typed with the initialletter of each word being capitalized, except articles,prepositions, and conjunctions. The title should becentered, and the preferred font is bold-faced TimesRoman 12 point in size.

4. Author(s) and Affiliation(s)

Skip one line after the title line(s) and type authors’names (speaker underlined), which should bespelled out.The authors’ names and affiliationsshould also be centered. The preferred font is TimesRoman 10.5 point in size for authors’ names, and italicTimes Roman 10.5 point in size for affiliations. Authors from other affiliations, please indicate 1, 2,.. on the right of each name and on the left of corresponding affiliations.

6. Main Body of the Text

The main body of the text should be divided intosections, and begin after skipping one line after thelastline of affiliation. The font for the main body ofthe text should be Times Roman, 10.5 point in size.Indent the first line of eachparagraph.Do not skip a line between paragraphs.

6.1 Tables

Tables should be numbered serially throughout thepaper with Roman numerals, and each should be placedin the text where reference is made to it. When tablesare referred to in the text, they should be typed in fullthus: Table I (i.e., with a single space between Table andthe number following).

6.2 Mathematical and structural formulae

Mathematical and structural formulae should bewritten with particular care, and may be numbered.

6.3 Figures

Figure should appear as part of the text, insertedwhere mentioned. They should be numbered seriallythroughout the paper with Arabic numerals. Whenfigures are referred to in the text, they should be typed thus: Figure 1 at the beginning of the sentence, while Fig.1 in the sentence. Colored figures are not accepted.

Figure captions should be centered below the figure.The preferredfont is 10.5 point Times Roman for figure captions. Inaddition, photographs, if used, should be preferablysharp, well-contrasted ones.

Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments, if any, should be placed at theend of the text before the references.

References

References mentioned in the text should benumbered sequentially, and the number should appear inbrackets such as 1, 2,3, and 14.When journalsare listed in references, the journal title, volume number,and year are followed by the inclusive page number.

References should be listed at the end of the mainbody of the text in numerical order, with the preferredfont of 10.5 point Times Roman. The example of references are listed as follows.
